Walk-Around Magic
Two hours- Close-up magic in your guests' own hands
- Table to table and group to group (sometimes called strolling)
- The kids and the adults both covered
- Nothing to set up and no stage needed
Two hours of close-up magic, group to group, so the kids get their own show, the adults get theirs, and your son or daughter is the star of it.
I go from group to group with magic that happens inches away, in your guests' own hands, using things I borrow from them. Nobody has to sit down, nobody has to be quiet, and nothing stops while I do it.
The magic is visual, so it lands even when the music is loud and the room is busy. And I bring far more material than I need, then choose what fits each group as I go.
Whenever they are not busy with someone else, the magic happens around them and to them, in front of their friends.
That is the part they describe to people afterward, and it is the reason I build the show the way I do.
Tell me a few things about them beforehand, the kind of things their friends would know, and I can build something around them that could not be performed for anybody else.
"We wanted to thank you so much for the fantastic job you did at our son Adam's Bar Mitzvah. Not only did you keep the kids entertained, but a number of adults told us that you blew their minds with some of your tricks. Thanks again for a great day!"
Most entertainment reaches either the children or the grown-ups. This reaches both, which usually means one performer instead of two. There are no agency fees either, because you are dealing with me directly.
I bring money magic, rope effects, mind reading, comedy and a great deal of audience participation, so you are not booking a narrow act and then filling the gaps.
15 years as the tableside magician at Max and Erma's and 16 more at the Old Bag of Nails, which is where you learn to work a loud room full of strangers and win it over in ninety seconds. That is the same skill a Mitzvah reception asks for.
Two term President of the International Brotherhood of Magicians here in Central Ohio, and a recipient of the Society of American Magicians Houdini Thurston Award.
The show is clean, age appropriate and sensory friendly, so every guest in the room can enjoy it. Anyone who takes part is treated with respect, and the laugh is always shared with them rather than aimed at them.
It matters most on a day you cannot do again, and nobody has ever asked me to honor it.
The date, the venue and roughly how many guests. I will tell you honestly which of the two fits.
